A 50% deposit is required when mount is brought in. All trophies will be held for 30 days after the customer has been notified of mount being completed. It’s A Trophy Taxidermy reserves the right to sell the trophy for mounting charge. Protected species are not accepted unless accompanied by Proper Permit.

We do not accept responsibility for tanning due to conditions beyond our control (i.e. field care, condition of animal when taken, time of year, temperature, etc.). Proper field care is critical for a professional trophy. Every effort should be made to get the trophy to your Taxidermist as soon as possible, especially in warm weather.

When you bring your trophy to the butcher tell him/her of your mounting plans so proper care can be taken. Freeze your trophy as soon as possible or at least plan some way to keep your trophy cold. Never tag through the ear. Drag your trophy as little as possible to prevent drag marks on cape/hide. If you are not sure how much hide is needed remember more is always better or call for assistance.
